Liquify Issues

Hey,
I'm trying to use liquify for a transformation effect. I want to use the warp tool to make the actors transformation seem less cheesy. However, when I add liquify and try to use the warp tool, it doesn't work.
I have the right tool selected but whenever I go to use it, the brush never appears regardless of what size I set it to. All it lets me use is the cursor. I can move my images but can't warp them.
I've tried resetting preferences, saving the project as a copy, and starting the entire project over from scratch. I got it to work once in one of my project restarts but then I quit to go back to my edited and saved project and it wouldn't work again. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well, to be blunt, your workflow is not good. Of course you will eventually have to pre-compose some of the steps. Slapping on a distortion effect immediately after the keying is bound to be problematic. And there's your answer: Move the keying to its own pre-comp and only then apply Liquify in the parent comp.

The very first thing I would do is delete the Liquify effect from your layer, pre-compose moving all attributes to the new comp, and then apply Liquify to the nested comp (your new pre-comp). You've got a bunch of other stuff going on in the layer that could easily overwhelm the graphics drivers.
If that doesn't help change the GPU settings in the first tab of the Project Settings.
