Logo white after importing to Logo tab

New Here ,

I am extremely new to the software and I am trying to import my own logo.

This is the file I am using

https://motionarray.com/after-effects-templates/stylish-glitch-logo-61505

When I drag my imported file to the "eidt comps>images> My logo" and then delete the original it displays fine but then I play the render it is completely white.

I have to enable time mapping to drag it across the scene, but I can't fugue out why it's doing this

Hi! I'm guessing your logo is white because the template has a Fill effect applied on an adjustment layer that ensure the logo will match the template. The reason yours turns all white is that it probably needs a png, psd, or ai file that has an alpha channel. I presume you are importing a jpg.

Templates can be pretty difficult and require pretty advanced knowledge of the program. It may be good to start with some basic tutorials to get your bearings.

Not sure what you mean about the time remapping.

Thanks, I discovered that i was able to transfer the image to log holder and then delete the sperate image and it did work, however like you mentioned it did not match the backround

Is it possible to take that same fill and apply it to my new image in the logo holder?

Without knowing what the setup is the best I can offer is Effects>Generate>Fill and then select a color (presumably white)
