Since updating to Mavericks, AE CC no longer opens.

Creative Cloud claims AE CC is up to date.

I am also unable to install the 12.1 or 12.2 updates manually. It simplt says "Update failled - contact support if the problem persists"

Note: Premiere, Bridge, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash CC all appear to be working fine.

Hi guys, I've found a solution.

Step 1. Delete or rename the  <Startup Disk>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdaterInventory/1.0/AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat

Step 2. Download and install the manual update from Adobe's download page: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5704

I don't know.

I would recommend a Google search: https://www.google.com/search?q=show+library+folder+mac+osx

The first step refers to the Library folder for the Mac OS, not the user.  All you have to do is open your boot drive and you should see a Library folder there, then just follow the path indicated.  The *User* library folder, fyi, can be accessed the easiest by holding the Option key and clicking the "Go" menu.  The Library listed there is the User Library.  There are methods of having it show up there permanently, but it depends on your OS.  Google for your specific OS.
