Missing After Effects folder

I'm on a macbook pro and trying to install a plugin for After Effects, but when I go to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ there's no After Effects folder where I can install the plugin. I'm missing the folder in its entirety.

You can find the plugin folder in Applications/Adobe After Effects CCxxxx/Plug-ins.

anyway the plugin you want to installed mus come with some installation window.
