Motion tracking call-outs

I'm editing a bit of medical footage that shows someone using a postural assesssment machine, where there will be callouts of a client's pelvis, spine, etc. that are motion tracked to his body.

This is the effect that I'm going for (excuse the crappyness of the spine track)

https://youtu.be/M0hijUEYSHI

This means applying motion tracking data to callouts so that the target is locked onto where his spine/pelvis/legs would be. I downloaded various callouts from Envato Elements and experimented with applying motion tracking data to them but they all ended up being absolute hell to work with.

And so I would appreciate some help on how to quickly make my own callouts for motion tracking.

I watched some youtube videos on making callouts but none of them were applicable for my project.

If anyone wants to have a crack at making some super bare bones callouts for motion tracking please do so, I would be very grateful as I wasted a lot of time fiddling with this. I have a project file here with things neatly organised if you want to use my composition, or feel free to screen record your own project.

If you want to use my project, find the file here:
