Motion Tracking not applied to target

I'm using Motion Tracker to track a gray box that moves around the frame and then replace it with a red solid that I have set as the target of the tracker.

After I apply the tracking to the target, the red box jumps to the location of the last tracking point and does not move with the tracking at all.

note: I can provide an image of this if necessary.

I have used this method before and it worked perfectly. However, I believe I may have accidentally changed a setting that is causing this current problem but I can't figure out which one.

No idea. That would indeed require to actually see the revealed keyframe info once it has been applied.

Keeps jumping to that spot.  Note: I've worked with this same concept I other clips of this music video I'm working on and the method works fine. I'm definitely missing something.

From your screenshot, I think that you are having problems with Corner Pin tracking, not Motion Tracking. It appears that you have generated some keyframes that should be available in the Porta Potty layer. The screenshot is cropped so we have no idea about what is going on in the rest of the comp so I'll have to guess.

If the position of the target layer does not match the position of the tracked layer then the tracked layer has been moved or scaled in the comp. All motion tracking uses the Layer Panel and the Layer Panel does not show position or scale properties.

If there is no motion in the target layer then the keyframes for Track Point 1 through Track Point 4 added to the Porta Potty layer were not applied to the Target layer as Corner Pin keyframes. This can easily be checked by selecting the target layer in the comp panel and pressing U to reveal the keyframes. You should see keyframes for Position as well as Corner Pin.

If the size of the target layer is wrong then the layer size does not match the size of the footage.

There are no reported bugs in the current release of the available versions of After Effects so I suspect that this is nothing more than user error. If you can not figure it out then we need screenshots showing us the keyframes that have been generated by your workflow. Cropped screenshots and layers that do now show the modified properties (keyframes) are pretty useless in diagnosing problems.

I've used this method over and over. It works in all over clips.  I've started over several times and it keeps doing the same thing.  Here are my steps:

1) I start in Premiere.  I select the clip I want and click on Replace with After Effects Composition.

2) I click on Tracker then Track Motion.

3) I change Track Type to Perspective Corner Pin

4) I line up the 4 corners to the corners of the gray box.

5) I create a solid and set that to the Target of the Tracker.

6) I Analyze Forward.  I fix any points that don't line up to the box.

7) I hit Apply.

On all other clips, Apply attaches the solid to the tracking.  In this one, it jumps to the end every single time.

Are you saying it could be a problem with the footage?

Look at the keyframes. If they are not lined up then undo the apply, set the Current Time Indicator of to the in point of the footage and apply again.

I still don't know what is going on because you cropped your screenshot. The screenshot should look like this:
