I built a firework layer from a lesson on Youtube. I duplicated the layer and attempted to offset the start time to make multiple fireworks. When I slid over the new layer the key frames did not move making the effect useless. I clicked around and sometimes the key frames moved and sometimes they didn't. I could not figure out what the pattern is.

You can select the layer that you'd like to adjust the keyframes on and press "U" on your keyboard to reveal the keyframes.
You can then move the keyframes in order for the effects to start and end at different times. If you drag a marquee (box) over the keyframes with your mouse they will be blue because they are selected and you can then more more than one at the same time.

When I select the layer by clicking on it I would expect all the key frames to move with it and they do sometimes. I have tried to move the 2 key frames that appear separately from the layer but the firework effect does not work then.

I have not found a solution.
I made a fireworks layer, I duplicated it and I want to slide it over so that it begins at a later time.
I expect the preset effects to move with it.
Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.
When I type "u" and move the key frames the effect is all screwed up and I do not know enough about it to fix it.
