Hello,
I have a Windows 10 computer and a powerful MacBookPro.
Which is the proper way to set up multi-machine rendering when the Windows computer is the main computer?
I have seen that there is also a plugin ("Render Boss" with rental fee), is it recommended? Or any other tool?
Any experience are welcome.
Thanks!

You can use the free After Effects Render Engine and set up a Watch Folder (File > Watch Folder) to save your projects and other AE instances to start rendering. The main problem is that if you are using third party filters, you probably need additional render licenses to take advantage of the multi-machine render.
