Hello, I'm contacting you because I've noticed a bug in After Effects:
My playback head no longer moves.
Playback is fine, but the playback level is indicated by the red line (see attachment).
It's a bit confusing.
Has this happened to you before? How do you solve the problem?
Thank you very much.

Thanks for making this post. The behavior you describe and show in your image is the correct behavior.
When you play a composition, the blue playhead and line remain in place while the red line shows the progress of the preview. Depending on whether "Move time to preview time" is enabled in the Preview panel, the blue line may remain in place after playback (so you can replay the same segment over and over) or move to the time at which you stopped playback.
Let me know if this makes sense, or if you experienced something different in a previous version.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I think I understand what you're telling me. I've tried checking and unchecking this box and I can see the difference.
Only before, I could see my playback head (the blue line) moving directly.
Now it only moves when I pause the animation.
I'd just like to see my blue line move during playback as before, because it's disturbing.
Thank you.

That's understandable, @Gaël Illustrations. Would you be able to share a screen recording of the blue CTI moving during playback in a previous version?
Cheers,
