no crash log within log folder

I have problem with AE crashing everytime when using popular transition template. I'm in contact with developer but he asked for crash logs to be able to help. I checked and there are no files in a proper folder (C:\Users\MIKE\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\16.0\logs).

Anyone has ideas?

The combinations and permutations of possible errors generated by transition templates, plug-ins, source files, and system errors are almost infinite. Without specific workflow, project, and system details it's kind of silly to make any suggestion other than checking to make sure your version of AE is up to date.

Please note my question is about missing crash log files and how to find/generate them.

If they are not in the normal place and a search for recent files or by extension does not find them then we need more details. A crash does not always generate a crash log. What happens when AE crashes?

I have one of these transitions templates purchased on envato. It freezes and crashes finally everytime so I made several tries changing different features in searching for reason of this. With some instances I get a splash screen saying AE crashes and will be reported. So I believed there should be some logs. Also note there are files in CRlog folder ( I don't remember exact path as I'm away now). Some of them are huge, like 25 GB, but don't know if they are any useful.
