Only left audio is playing in After Effects Preview

New Here ,

I have been using after-effects for a while now, but this problem has never came up. During the preview/playback of my video, I can only hear the audio out of my left earbud. In the audio tab, the left channel shows the graph like it usually does, but the right channel is completely blank. However, when I render the video the audio is completely normal again. Is this some kind of bug? Also, the problem isn't my wireless headphones because they work perfectly fine in any other application. Thanks.

Show us "Audio Output Mapping..." from Ae Preferences. In "Map Output For:" option, must be set it one channel for Left and another one for Right.

Thanks, I had the same problem with my headphones. I did whay Byron suggested, but had to quit AE and restart AE before it took effect. Thanks.

I'm glad you got this issue sorted and I know you mentioned in your OP that you knew the headphones were not the issue, but it did remind me of a time last year was I became convinced I was losing hearing in my left ear.  Turned out it is was faulty (cat chewed) wire.  😄
