Hello there, I am do ing the blotter media glow effect on a dance video, and paint on transparent has recently stopped working for me. It lets me paint on the video layer, then after that I move it to a solid so I can have it organized and add effects to the paint layer, as you are supposed to when doing what I am doing. But every time I click paint on transparent, it gets rid of the paint strokes I have done. And I tried turning the blend mode on the solid to 'screen', but then the glow effect doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I just answered the same question on a similar post. You have to change the paint strokes to include the alpha channels if you expect to see the paint strokes. Here's the post: Re: Paint on transparent
