.png files not importing

My after effects is not importing .png files  , what is the problem ?

Would you mention the version of your After Effects and OS?

Color space? Type if PNG compression? Any error message? RGB generic PNG files should work just fine. If they will open in Photoshop try a save as and make sure the color is set to RGB.

You should check your Adobe After Effects settings. Try this one.
