Hi everyone,
I have three layers that are animated to morph into one single object (via the Super Morph plugin). For some reason, one of the layers, the precomposed one, will not extend to the beginning of the timeline even though I set that composition very long. I have done it before with the same exact elements without any issues.
These are the three elements that morph into another single element. As you can see, two didn't give me any issues while the pre-comp does.
This is inside the precomp. I made the timeline about three minutes long so plenty of room to adjust.
What do you think is happening? Thank you all in advance.

Probably, the problem is that you have extended the layer IN point for the Icons illustrator file beyoind its limit. As you can see, you have a very subtle diagonal lines on the layer, and it is a better option not to trim them but move them to maintain its original In point. I've seen some problems when doinng that, mainly with some effects and probably this issue you have encountered it is related with that

When you pre-compose there is an option to adjust the length of the new comp to the duration of the layers. This may be your problem. You can't just drag the in and out points of a nested comp unless you have already trimmed that nested comp by setting new in and out points.
I don't think there is a bug here, I just think it is a user error. You might want to start by checking the composition settings for both comps.
