Preview not working

Hello. I've installed After Effects on a new computer, and I'm having trouble getting the preview window to play or show anything (see images below ). 

If I have music and play, I can hear the music play but the timeline won't keep moving along.

I've tried all the usual stuff (purge cache, uninstall/reinstall, updated my graphic driver, change system setting to be adjust for best appearance, etc.) but nothing has changed.

I would be very happy if you can help.

Without any exact system info we can't tell you much, but yes, you need to fix your graphics driver and hardware acceleration most definitely.

My hardware is;
i7-9700KF
32GB Ram
NVIDIA Quadro P2000 Graphic Card

I installed the latest driver for my graphic card but nothing has changed.
