Hi,

we have currently a pretty old workstation with an 4960X CPU, 16GB RAM and a RADEON R9 X280 GPU.

We start just now a weekly video news serie where a part will be edited (because of ProRes 4444) in AE 17. Our plan is to let build a ryzen based workstation with 64GB RAM, a Quadro GPU and 10TB internal RAID.

Do you know any suppliers in Germany for adobe-certified hardware? Which company would you suggest?

Thank you for your feedback.

Best regards

I.

I don't know anything about German system builders - but I'd forget about that Quadro, assuming you don't need it for any specialised CAD / Engineering application. A decent GeForce gaming card will be much better value for AE.

Adobe has long stopped recommending any specific hardware or vendors. The Rest can easily be answered by sifting through the gigazillions of post on hardware and performance optimization found here on this forum and elsewhere.
