Projection mapping

I'm a student working on some projection mapping, i have close to zero experience in after effects, but i was wondering if anyone knew a good tutorial for how to do projection mapping.

There are basically none, because every job is different and depending on the shapes this can become super complex and it most of the time also involves tons of other tools. so rather than look for generalized tutorails it would be better if you actually explained what you need to do so people can advise on concrete steps and approaches to problems.
