"Batch-offset" multiple keyframes sequently in time?

Community Beginner ,
Jan 28, 2019 Jan 28, 2019

Is it possible to change the position of a single keyframe of a bunch of layers to an sequential order in time, without editing every single layer separately?

Like:

layer1_keyframe_a=0+x;

layer2_keyframe_a=0+2x;

layer3_keyframe_a=0+3x;

and so on?!?

Would be glad someone could help me on this issue.

Cheers

I'm sure this can be done with scripting and maybe that is the solution you're looking for

but better is this pay what you want script. it's an essential tool

Rift - aescripts + aeplugins - aescripts.com

Hmm allright.

Thanks for the link mate! Looks really as this would help me out with a lot of stuff. I doubt this is gonna solve my actual issue though.

Anyone who could name or provide a script which can accomplish initial task?

The "sequence" section of the Rift interface is the one that will do what you want.

You would select the key frames, set the UI to "selected keyframes" then set the number of frames or seconds "x" you want between them.

The UI for rift can look intimidating but once you wrap your head around it it's a very useful tool.
