I hope im not the only one.
I'm trying to use the "Create Nulls from Paths", but, as you can see in the picture, the buttons are all blank. Do you have any ideas?
The issue could be ONE (or more) script that is causing the issue. I have lots of Script Panels open within a single frame too. You should also be using an improved rendition of the Create Nulls from Path script. The issue with the built-in script is the inability to adjust the tangent. Hence, after applying the script, your tangents are fixed forever, and ever and ever AND ever.

Have you read the instructions? This looks like nothing more than user error. To find the instructions type "nulls from paths" in the search help field in the upper right corner of AE. If you are still having problems then select the layer you are using for the paths, press the U key twice to reveal all modified properties, PrintScreen then paste the entire screenshot to the forum so we can see what you are doing. Without workflow details, it is almost impossible to diagnose workflow issues or bugs.

Instructions? User error? I know how to use scripts, i'm not a new user. There's nothing more to add than that. I open a new document, I create a rectangle, convert it to bezier path, open the "create null from paths" and the buttons are empty. Already tried reinstall, but nothing works. This is on windows, i tried using it on my mac and it works there. I actually copied that script file to windows to see if it worked, but it didn't.
With all due respect, this is my first post in this forum after 6 years of using after effects. If i hadn't already tried everything i could and search everywhere on google, i wouldn't be posting it here.

I see no path selected:
Gives me this when Nulls Follows Points is selected:
If your AE is up to date it should work just fine.

Oh yeah, the path was actually selected when i opened it but i don't know why it got selected when i made the screen print.
Look, i found kind of a "solution".
I have my workspace full of scripts i've bought and stuff. I noted that when i have that workspace on, the "create nulls from paths" script doesnt work, but when i restart after effects, select the default workspace and open the script, it works!
The problem here is that i have to select default and restart after effects to make it work, it seems that it has problems working with other scripts. That's the question now, what's the problem it has with other scripts just for being docked on the workspace?

The problem depends on the scripts. It's pretty easy for a 3rd party script to foul things up.

This script is all kinds of broken. It was working fine for me, LITERALLY A SECOND AGO... and then I add another Shape layer stroke, select it and click the "points follow nulls" button aaaaannnd... bupkis. It tells me "Error: No path selected" when there is CLEARLY a path selected. This is after it had worked for at least two other Shape Layers, just a minute earlier... like it was JUST working. Restarting, purging, resaving... nothing for me has worked. It was working fine one minute and now is not. Such is adobe.
