"Your disk cache folder is on a drive that does not have enouugh avaible space"

I just downloaded Adobe After Effects, and when I first loaded it, I got this error message. This is probably true, as I am running out of space on my ssd. Is there a way I could switch my storage location to my hard drive which has much more space?

Thanks!

An excursion to the Preferences might be a good idea. I suggest you do actually read the help instead of blindly diving in. Many of these more obscure things in AE are not plainly obvious and can get you in trouble. You should take the time to sift through the prefs and set them up suitably along with understanding basics of the UI and so on.

Hello!

Thanks, but I can't find any help threads for "excursion to the Preferences", could you care to link me one?

Thanks!

He means open the preferences. You'll find a tab in there relating to disk cache, where you can tell it to store elsewhere, like another internal or external drive. Its good to have your cache on a fast drive where available.
