Have you tried to render as an image sequence?

In a pinch, try rendering as a high quality image sequence, then merge the audio and the sequence to your H264 movie

Mostly you have a problem with some effect, and to fix that you must check the effect cause the issue and try to tweak the settings for that effects or remove it if you can, most effect that can cause this problem is Motion tile, anyway try to post some screenshot and show us the effects you use that cause the issue

You shouldn't be using the Render Queue to render h.254 files. It never did a good job and the current versions of AE don't support it at all.

If the failure is always at the same frame then something is going on in your comp that is causing the problem. Start by selecting all layers, pressing the U key twice to reveal all modified properties, then look for things that could be eating up your system resources. Motion Tile, Particle systems, temporal effects, and many other things are likely suspects. Start by turning FX off or resetting values and try the render again.

If all else fails, render an image sequence. When the render fails open up the comp again and set the work area to the first frame after the render failure and see if you can pick it up again. I have had comps that I needed to use this approach to get them to render. The nice thing about image sequences is that if you only need to replace 10 frames in a 400 frame sequence, you can just render those 10 frames.

i'm using media encoder, not render queue. i tried render queue a few times to see if it was media encoders issue but thats all.

i changed my motion tile settings and motion tile was duplicated on a few clips, so ill see if that works
