In the last two versions of After Effects rendering comps to video has a slight problem. Normally when AE rendering is complete there is sound notification indicating completion. On my last several video renders the green completion line above showing render status indicates render completed; however there is no sound for completion. I've noticed I can't access the Main project or redirect to any other AE windows. When I double click on the movie icon for the render it will not open. Depending on how long the project duration is after a few minutes or longer I can access other AE windows and the movie will open up.
Apparently the green render line is showing a complete render long before the render is actually completed.
Anyone else notice this issue??? Today I downloaded the most recent AE release 18.4 but I'm still experiencing this same issue.
Please let me know if anyone else is having this issue and if there is a fix.
