Rotating Objects are Flat?

Participant ,

Hello Folks, I was experimenting with objects rotating around other objects, some people here help

me and give me good clues, now I try to use a 3d Object from Element 3d and when you rotated, they

look flat like that planet in the photo below, how can I fix this?

What is the next step?  Thanks in advance.

Element 3d objects need to be tranformed with the effects transform, not After Effect's.   If you use AE's regular rotate you're just rotating the solid that the effect is applied to.  In the effect panel down toward the bottom is the world transform properties.  Use those.

Do not rotate the layer. Do not make the Element 3D layer 3D. There are transform controls inside the effect that you have to use.

BTW, screenshots of just the comp window are almost completely useless. We need to see your entire AE screen with the modified properties of the layers that are giving you problems revealed. Just select the layer, press the U key twice, make sure that your composition or footage that is giving you problems is selected in the Project Panel so we can see the composition settings or footage type next to the preview thumbnail, then PrintScreen and then Ctrl + v to paste the screenshot to the forum. It shouldn't be any easier. If you are on a Mac then it's Shift + Ctrl/Cmnd + 3 to take a screenshot and then drag from the desktop to the reply field.

If you have footage of the actor and you want the planned to rotate around the actor then you're going to have to use some additional production tricks. Full instructions are on the Video Copilot site in their tutorials. You should probably spend a fair amount of time going through the basic training for Element 3D. It's awfully hard to figure out by just poking around in the UI and throwing switches.
