ROTO BRUSH NOT Selecting After Initial Selection Except When Changing Versions

New Here ,

Roto Brush is acting really weird with this specific clip. After I make the first selection, I can't select or deselect anything unless I switch back and forth between versions.

For example, I can make a selection with version 2.0, and I can only change the selection if I switch to version 3.0, then switch back to version 2.0. Switching between any of the versions yields the same results.

The clip is pre-composed because that's how it was when I found this. I tested it without pre-comp and it does the same thing. This is a linked composition with Premiere. I tried making a new, unlinked, composition and it ended up working just fine then. So, it could be an issue with dynamic link but I don't know. Any input is appreciated!!

See attached clip for what I mean.

Thanks for writing in. I tried to reproduce it on my end but it works as expected. So it could be specific to your machine or specific project or media. Can you try clearing the media cache (Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache)? If that doesn't help, see if you are able to reproduce this on a new project with a different media.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Nishu
