Hi everyone. Hope you're well. I've been watching the tutorials on screen replacement so I feel pretty good about that, but my other issue is that I also need to scale the image. I'm going from a close up on an old tube TV and then zooming out to a wide shot of people watching the tv set. I don't pan or tilt, but the scale obviously goes from large to quite small. Wanted to see what other steps I should take before following the tutorial's guide. Thanks!

Do you mean you are replacing the screen of a real world zooming camera shot? Or are you creating the zoom within AE as well?
If you're using a real world shot, you will need to motion track the screen replacement into the shot.
But if your shot is static and you're adding the zoom in After Effects, it should be extremely straightforward, so long as all your material has sufficient resolution.
Here's an old music video I made years ago that has lots of moves through virtual TVs. Sorry about the image quality, not my upload. But is this the kind of thing you're talking about?
