Setting/repositioning 3D Ground Plane

Working on an old comp that has all of the assets below the 3D Ground Plane -- is it possible to set it to a new level? I don't want to parent all of the Assets to a Null to move them up if it can be avoided as many of them are parented to different layers already.

 

Any new ideas/slick suggestions welcomed.

Parenting to a null and moving everything is your best bet. I've made a simple script that creates a new null, detects if it should be 2D or 3D, and parents all un-parented layers to it.
