I often find myself wanting to sketch on top of a composition with my tablet so I know where things are going to be before I animate. This sketch would then be discarded. Is there an easy way to do this in After Effects? I have a simplwe Wacom tablet.

No, there is no Scribble/ Storyboard/ Crayon tool in AE like in Maya, Max, Blender, Cinema 4D etc. for the simple fact that AE can't render persistent data on the fly and store it.

Thanks. I guess a way round it would be to just add a layer done in another application, such as Photoshop.
