Slider Range always resets itself (AE CC)

Hi All,

if I want to limit a custom slider to specific values, I go to the Slider control and set the min and max. E.g. min -50 and max +50. Fine so far. But when I switch to another layer and go back to the previous layer (where I set the min and max values), it resets to min 0 and max 100    This happens all the time

I’m using AE CC. Anyone else having this annoying problem ?

Best

Serge

I'm not seeing anything like that (the min and max values don't switch back to 0 & 100). I can't imagine what's causing it.

Hi Dan,

thanks for the reply.

Hm... Maybe its a bad preference file. Do you might know how to reset the preferences of AE for that circumstance ?

Or which file I have to delete ? (I'm on a Mac.)

That's the only thing I can think of. It was simpler to trash the prefs when they were all in one file. I have no idea which one might be the culprit (if that is indeed the problem).

Yepp, I know the times, when there were only just one pref file, that could be easily deleted...

I think I have to get in touch with the support team of Adobe
