Been having problems since I updated to the new AE 2020. Just tried to open a Crash File it created on the first crash and it basically was dead, could not click or highlight on anything. I went to quit and got this:
Last log message was: <140735680414592> <Scripting> <5> Executing startup/shutdown script at: /Applications/Adobe After Effects 2020/Scripts/Shutdown/About the Shutdown folder.txt.
Generating crash log, which may take a few minutes.
Before that when trying to create a new composition, I got this one:
A copy of your project was saved at: /Users/Lee K/Documents/After Effects Crash.aep.
Last log message was: <140735680414592> <BEE_MiscTasks> <5> Set Artisan Task: Classic 3D.
Generating crash log, which may take a few minutes.

Hi there,
I have been having the same problem whenever I use 2020.
Whatever program I am working on After effects crashes after a few minutes - the longest that I can work without a crash is about 30 minutes.
I have been reverting back to the 2019 for now.

More or less the same here.
-AE is unreponsive when a project is loaded.
-In a new project, creating a Comp only flashes a white rectangle (probably where a dialog should appear).
-Sometime it crashes with the Startup/Shutdown script error.
I am on High Sierra too.
