Trying to make video black background w/ black image transparent. Can't figure out. Please help!

Adobe shot of stock video MOV file  H264 codec. Plus shot of luma key result.  Part of  image is black on black background.  I'm trying to change background to a cream color.   Flower part is very detailed and there's a lot of movement.  Could use rotobrush but would take days since I'd have to make frame by frame detailed adjusts and it has to perfect.   Tried using luma key, color key - but get some holes in the black sleeve. Played with threshold, tolerence etc. No luck.   Linear,  color key turns sleeve white.  Also every work around I can think of. Video attached.   Been at this for 4 straight days.  Combed through everything on internet and out of ideas.  I'd be terribly grateful for your help (plus it's driving me crazy that I haven't been able. to figure this out!!).   Many thanks in advance.

Track Mattes. If you already have a luma matte, everything you need is there. Read the help.

I know you say rotobrush would take days, but version 3 has been getting me some excellent results.

One thing that is worth considering... use different techniques for different parts of the image.  If luma key works for the flowers, then mask out the sleeve and do that separately using rotobrush.
