Turn off After Effects processing notifications in Creative Cloud

Engaged ,
Mar 26, 2024 Mar 26, 2024

Every time I send something to process, and it finishes, I get this notification in CC.

I haven't found anything to stop this particular notification, anywhere. Does anyone know how to deal with it? I don't want to disable notifications since some may be useful.

Notifications are off inside After Effects.

I'm using the latest version of CC and AE in macOS Sonoma 14.2.1, MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports.

My Creative Cloud notifications are disabled in MacOS Settings. The notification is INSIDE the Creative Cloud app. Please see the screenshots, I uploaded them to help others identify the problem and describe the issue. There is no way to disable this, or I haven't found it.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Well aparently it is a pain to browse, since I posted it in the best or less worse place possible, and still got it wrong. It deosn't help that every few months Adobe changes the system to report this stuff, and I'm not keeping track of them anymore, really, I have other things to do.

I was a Community Moderator long ago for many years so you can imagine I have some idea about how to use a support forum, but I think they try to make it complicated on purpose. Or it could be just my imagination, who knows!

Thanks for your assistance, kind Expert. But the problem persists.

You can disable the notifications in After Effects Preferences> Notifications.

Let me know if it helps.

Thanks,
Nishu

I'm OCD and hate seeing red dots on my creative cloud on menu bar and seeing hundreds of unlead AE render notifications. in iPhone app of creative cloud, you have option to "Clear all" for all the unread notification. the desktop app don't have that and wish they put that there.

Dont know if you stiill care about this OP, but, I opened my own thread and got the answer to this.

In typical Adobe fashion, there are fully THREE places you have to change this setting for it to take. Which is crazy, but that's Adobe for you. (We're all just paying beta testers to them, right?)

The first is in the Settings>Preferences menu you just suggested in your post:

The second and third are on the Render Queue itself:

The final place to check is in the CC desktop app itself. Preferences>Notifications

While Im sure there is some crazy edge case that requires this level of redundancy, I have no idea why it's this complicated to do this but I hope it helps.
