Video preview

Hi, I like working with three monitors. One is for video preview only: edit/preferences/video preview - then I choose a video device. It worked well but its been quite a time when it stopped working. There is no way to re-run it again. In Premiere it works perfectly, in Ae it doesnt. Its really annoying... Any chance to solve this issue? Thanks a lot!

There really isn't any detail to go on here, but can you post a screenshot of your Video Preview preferences pane? Also, please post a full screen (including the top title bar) of your main AE interface. I know of one issue that could cause what you're describing, but seeing the full monitor screenshot will help.

Sure, thank you!

Are you sure that Monitor 1 is the correct one? Have you tried the other two? Also, could you post that other full monitor screenshot of your main After Effects UI?

Yes, monitor 1 is the correct one, it worked well before. When trying the others, none of them works...

Ok, thanks. You're not experiencing the issue I know that can cause Mercury Transmit to be disabled, so then we're left with my previous question about the other monitors. Is monitor 2 your main and you have 1 and 3 on either side of it? For good measure, have you tried the other two options?
Also, what version of After Effects are you running (the exact version, not just the year) and have you updated to the latest one?

The other monitors option doesnt work either. Im on AE 17.0.5 It updates automatically so it is the latest version, I believe...

Have you tried resetting your preferences? https://blogs.adobe.com/kevinmonahan/2013/10/15/reset-after-effects-preferences/
What about temporarily unplugging a third monitor and only trying with two? Transmit is working work me on 17.0.5 with two monitors.
