Hi everyone! I've seen this topic a lot in the forums but it seems that Adobe has not yet addressed this issue. Wacom Pen Pressure does NOT work with Adobe After Effects brush tool:

Screen Shot 2018-05-14 at 8.09.22 AM.png

In the above picture I've selected Brush 19. When Size is set to Pen Pressure (as is in the photos),  I can only draw those very thin and very faint lines on the left. When the Size is set to Off, I can only draw those two thicker lines in the middle. If you're from Adobe or are a developer from there, please address this as it seems to be a common issue with no fix yet.

Versions used:

Adobe AE: Version 15.1.1 (Build 12)

Wacom Tablet Driver: I've tested the latest Driver 6.3.29-6, as well as the older Driver 6.3.28-2

Device: Macbook Pro, OS Sierra version 10.12.6

UPDATE: Thankfully I still have a copy of my very old Wacom Tablet Driver 6.3.15-3, and the pen pressure is working again. But still, I hope any future versions of this program will be fully compatible with the Wacom drivers.

Hi jecamartinez, this is a User to User forum, and Adobe staff will occasionally pop in, but if you want to file a bug or Feature Request directly with the After Effects team, you should head over to the new UserVoice page: After Effects: Hot (355 ideas) – Adobe video & audio apps

The Ae team reads these and with this new site, they're now able to provide feedback, as opposed to the old version where you would submit your requests and bugs via a web form.

I posted there too, but seems that userfocus are for "new ideas" mainly.

This problem is really a common and very reported issue, so it is a bug and I really want to see it solved.

Here in the studio we have an Intuos4 L, Intuos 4 M and some Cintiqs 13HD on macOS 10.13.6 and 10.12

I have 4 different macs too and none is working using pen pressure on After Effects.

Is there any plans to solve it? All the other apps works great, including Photoshop, so the Wacom driver seems not to be the problem here, and I can't understand why the latest updated Wacom Driver, macOS and AE can't work together.

Adobe, please tell something about this issue!

Tks so much
