Wave Warp jagged / stepped Edges

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the Wave Warp effect on a Typeface. The edges of the font get stepped and at a certain point in time there is like a line going from left to right through the font. For me, it seems like this could be the start point of the waveform.

I'll attach a short video and a screenshot for clarification.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem or a workaround? I have tried blurring the edges, but since some lines are pretty thin, this is no solution.

Thanks for your help.
Max

Probably the usual hardware acceleration glitches and directly stacking a quadrizillion effects doesn't help. Pre-compose some of the steps and apply the warp in the parent comp.

I have made a pre-comp for each of the active effects. Unfortunately, this didn't solve the steps and the line. Thanks anyway. Any other idea what it could be?
