Weird Warping Effect When Adding Frame Blending While Using Time Remapping

So I have a clip of me playing krunker which I added some basic time remapping to. Without frame blending the slow motion parts look very ugly. Adding frame blending makes it look better, but it has this weird warping effect on the edges of the screen. It is very noticable in some parts of the video. You can see it warp text and other things. Using a different frame blending mode solves this, but the slow motion portions of the clip look stuttery and barely better than they did without frame blending. Any solutions? This isn't the first time I've run into this issue.

There are three different frame blending options, off, pixel motion and Frame Mix. Pixel motion is going to warp detail edges on fast-moving lines. Speeding up footage usually looks better if you add some motion blur using Pixel Motion Blur than if you use frame blending especially with screen capture gameplay footage.
