Hi all,
A bit of a new to AE question. I have some pngs of hand drawn lines. One shown below. I'm using the stroke effect to reveal the line from left to right. I want to make it a bit more realistic, and make the reveal slow down a bit on the tiny quirks on the line. What's the best way to do this? I've tried messing with the speed graph to no effect (alhtough I'm not good with them). The animations happen quickly - about one second. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you are saying that you want the reveal to take more time on the parts of the line that has the wiggles you would need to keyframe it as such. Your two existng keyframes are at 0% and 100%. Scrub down the timeline to the point where the first part of the wiggle has been revealed. then click on the 'Add of Remove Keyframe at Current Time' (the square diamond in between the two opposing arrows to the left of your 'Stroke>End' on your timeline) This will create a keyframe at the required percentage along your path. Then select this new keyframe and the last 100% keyframe on your timeline and move them both down the timeline to the right (further in time). This will put more time in between 0% and the new keyframe you created, thus making that part of the animation take longer. You can then do the same thing for the wiggles at the end of the line. If you then select all your keyframes, right click on one of them and select 'Keyframe Interpolation', then change 'Temporal' (time) to 'Auto Bezier' it will smooth out the rate of the reveal between the differet sections of the animation.
