Hello,
Im trying to open in after effects 24.6.2 a file from 24,0 but I´m getting the following error message. Is there any chance that I can open? I have the same problem with all files.
Thanks!

You will have to open the file in 24.6, then do a "save as" and choose a previous version of After Effects.

If you're encountering an error when trying to open a file in After Effects 24.6.2 that was created in version 24.0, this could be due to several issues. Here are some potential solutions to try:
1. Compatibility and File Corruption
The error may result from slight version incompatibility or corruption in the project file. Try opening the project on a different machine running the earlier version (24.0) to see if the file can be saved again in a compatible format.
2. Clear Cache
Sometimes, After Effects cache data can cause issues. Try clearing the disk cache. Go to:
Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache. After clearing, attempt to open the file again.
3. Importing Instead of Opening
Instead of directly opening the project, try importing it into a new blank project:
File > Import > File, and select the old project file. This method can sometimes bypass errors related to file corruption or version mismatches.
4. Check Plugins or Effects
If the project contains third-party effects or plugins that aren’t installed in the newer version, you might experience issues. Check if the same plugins are installed and updated in both versions.
5. Downgrade After Effects Version
If all else fails, consider downgrading your After Effects version back to 24.0 temporarily to open the project. You can do this through the Creative Cloud app under the "Other Versions" option.

Finally I changed my AE version in creative cloud (3 dots - change version to 24.0) and now it´s working.
Thank you for your help!
