Well, i really enjoy Adobe Works, a lot of apps, offers, and apks. I've downloaded many apks on my tablet from Adobe Market (google Play market),they're really helpful and useful, really nice job!
But im really interested in idea with Adobe After Effect for Android users.
On pc app look really simply, design of app shouldnt eat so much ram so this test is probably passed!
Now hardest part - modding/coding and usage of ram for creating animation or memory.
Hard to calculate how much this app can took from ram'n rom memory - standard of aae for pc is 5gb + 200mb of memory disk and min. 4gb ram (sugested by Adobe staff is min. 8gb -16gb.) It can be really hard to optimalize this app as apk to 200 mb installer or .rar and 5 GB size of full apk - technology is going really well and fast, almost we can say that phones are good enough to use it as laptop if you have second bigger screen and keyboard.
Also about ram - nice phones were out this\last year with 4-8 GB ram for gamers, also Razer is still updating their phone project - i think their project is a light of Hope for APK AAE.
Phone users minimum of ram is from:
_ 200 mb ram (android 4.0.4) impossible to run AAE.
_1 - 1.5 GB ram with updating system (5.0 to 6.0 android) still not possible to run without lags
_1.5 - 2 GB ram (android 6.0^ and 7.0 Noughat) [my actual Device with 2gb ram and 7.0] i have Hope for 2gb ram as min. To run AAE also with lags.
_4gb - modified ram memory by root and SD cards. Can run AAE
I've tested it with some laptops and Phones from Lenovo,Samsung,Acer and soon MSI.
I've seen some videos about AAE on phone, people really want this apk! It can be a revolution for gamers, graphers, designers and android users!
Please tell me what do you think about AAE apk.
Also im open to become a tester of apk - actually im a tester of some apps and i can try my best to help you.
Sorry for mistakes - is really late right now and my National language is Polish, still i study advanced english.
Have a good week readers\visitors and Adobe Stuff!
It's unlikely that anything as complex as AE will ever come to a mobile operating system. At best I would imagine some semi-automated stuff in a simplified tool like live keying or something liek project Cloak for on-set preview and work. Anything beyond that really doesn't make sense I'm afraid. There's a ton of practical issues like the precison of the touch input being inadequate for fine detail work or even trivial stuff like selecting a keyframe that's only a few pixels in size plus you tot

I understand that you are excited about this.
But as a 21-year After Effects user, I can't even begin to count the number of reasons why After Effects on a phone would be one of the Worst Ideas Ever. Perhaps an even-worse idea than making the movie, "Ishtar".

Why in your opinion aae on phone is that bad? Of course complication, render and other settings can be buggy or even doesnt work - then you need to create second AAE proj. Reader or apk as totally new program.
AAE apk would be for tablet and ipad users with screen min. 10.1' becuse you see something _ no only pixels.
But thanks for comment!

Just off the top of my head, here are three reasons:
I could continue for hours, but I don't want my head to hurt. AE is a post-production special effects, compositing, animation and motion graphics application. It isn't a toy to make funny cat videos.

Android and iOs impose a ton of limitations when it comes to file access and memory usage due to their security models plus rarely ever would users want their phones or tablets to drain the battery when running on full throttle. Yes, processors are getting much more powerful with every new product cycle and the bricks get more RAM and all that *blahblahblah*, but that still doesn't mean such a device would be a usable for complex graphic design work. Your obsession about technical stuff is blinding you about other issues. People with serious graphics needs are not nerds doodling around with animojis, AR overlays or gaming stuff just like AE isn't even multicore/ multithread-friendly to begin with, among other things. In its current technical state this would be one lousy app to use on a mobile device.
