Adjustment layers show as white solid???

Community Expert ,

Hi,

I just added an adjusment layer to my comp in Ae (CC2019) and it appears as a white solid. I would expect it to be transparent, but it isn't.

Am I missing something here or is this a (known) bug?

Please let me know.

Richard

Check the Adjustment Layer switch in the timeline. If you don't know what that is, poke around in the columns or use the Search Help field to learn about the timeline switches. Any layer can be an adjustment layer. Creating one from the shortcut or the menu is supposed to turn on the switch in the timeline.

I had this issue too. Simply restarting After Effects worked for me!
