The past few days have been with me attempting at length to fix this issue with After Effects. Never had an issue with it opening until last night, and then today, where even when reinstalling twice, restarting computer, and reinstalling again (15.0.2 I'm guessing, since I can't get that far to even check the version number), I keep getting these message:
This has frustrated me because this was going on in the middle of me needing AE to do a major project that I wanted to link an AE template I wanted to use into Premiere Pro (which DOES open). It keeps telling me to reinstall, only I have done this countless times now.
My specs:
I reverted to the previous edition and it is working now. I'm going to see soon if updating it to new version after I know the previous worked makes the problem pop back up.

Impossible to tell. Presumably you are missing some library at the system level, so start by checking your device drivers and things like the MSVC redistributables.

I can't edit my post right now, so I'll post this as an update, as trying to update to 15.0.2 brought me the error. 15.0.1 does not do this, so it's strictly with the newest version that the problem persists. Either there is a conflict with another program or extension, or a bug that keeps this element from loading, or maybe the limited space I have on the computer at the time causes the problem. Either way, I can now confirm that it's only happening with the latest version of AE.

I got exactly the same error messages. Does anyone has something useful in this case?

Try trashing AE's prefs.

I have this same Error, any version after 15.0.1 won't boot. I've reinstalled many times, ran cc cleaner, I just don't understand. Nobody find a fix yet?
