Hello, my after effects does not let me render black borders. It always crops my video when I render it to cut out these black borders. The borders I make are just a black solid layer with CC jaws added but if also made some with motion tile and those are also cropped. I can see them in the preview but when I'm done rendering they aren't in the rendered video. I recently got a new computer and was able to render with the black borders on my previous computer perfectly. I'm not sure if there's a setting I accidentally clicked for this to happen but if anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I don't understand what you're saying. If your composition has black borders, your renders should as well. What are your render settings out of AE?

without screen shoot from your actual composition and your render settings we can't guess what you're doing wrong and help you fix that issue,
anyway be sure you don't have any crop settings from output module settings

Hello! Thank y'all for the responses. I actually found out that after effects itself is not cropping my video, it was the encoder software I use to convert my videos to an mp4 format. Thank y'all once again!
