The issue is with editing Arabic text in the latest version of After Effects. We have the AE Type preference set correctly using the English/Arabic install of Adobe CC. When we paste Arabic text from a transcript it appears correctly but we are unable to accurately select and change specific attributes of the text (changing specific colors to yellow in this case). Our solution is to duplicate the text layer and turn all of the top text yellow. Then, mask out the correct words so everything appears as desired. The most recent versions of AE finally had the Arabic text functioning correctly. We performed an update to the recent releases and we now get this error. Our workaround is to biuld the Arabic text in Premiere - which seems to be working correctly.
