Empty layer after applying Pixel Polly effect

New Here ,

Hello, I am trying to apply a Pixel polly effect on a layer with a transparent background. Whenever I do it the image on layer disappears – becomes invisible. It happens with.psd files, .eps files and .ai files. I tried to precompose the layer and the same thing happened. I do not know what is going on. Please help me solve the mystery. Iwona R-K

Pixel Polly will create the animation at the start of the layer by default. if your layer is trimmed you may be seeing the effect long after when pixel polly finished its thing. you can set the time in the "start time" parameter. or, since it's a still layer, click on it twice - this will open the layer panel. while in the layer panel - press home to reach to the first frame, then alt [ to set it's in point there, and now back in the timeline - shift the layer back into place.
