i have but 2017 opens in a snap...
it is during converting from prevision mac version to windows..

the project does open in cc2017 , but i couldnt copy my clips from 2018 pr... thats when it whent black screen ...

Hmm, perhaps it's related to QuickTime32 removal? Dropped support for QuickTime 7 era formats and codecs

I have to stay in CC2017 for some of my own projects for this reason.

it is an intensive codec template from 2014ish red user era and  earlier for film scan overlays many legalese files included to create film looks .. its not that old but i guess somehow the math doesn't compute?
