Thought I would pass along this link to all who read browse this forum. I just recently released a free script called Null Swapper and a tutorial for it here:
It's a utility script to swap After Effects Null layers out for Light layers. Say when you want to use a 3D solved track with Plexus, you will need Point Lights for Plexus to work, and swapping tens to hundreds of Nulls for Lights is a crazy task to do by hand. That's why I made this script. Currently it is CS5.5 and CS6 only, but I am looking into a solution for previous AE versions.

CS6 compatibility has been added. I'm still working on an elegant solution for preCS5.5 AE versions.

One way at the moment, nulls to lights. I could add that feature to my list of updates to work on though.

Great script, thanks. One request: since you're releasing it free, why not release the source (i.e. publish it as plain old jsx). That way others can help refine it.

‌Thanks stib_at_work , the only reason this is not open source yet is that there is still proprietary code being used that I cannot release publicly yet. It is on my list of things to resolve. I will be making a few open source scripts soon as part of my Free Function Friday series though.
