I have a time remapped layer with some keyframes. For some reason in one of the keyframes the video goes back a little, then in the next forward again. This is not what I want, so I corrected the keyframes. However the interpolation between the keyframes *still* does the same thing it was doing before, it goes a little back and then forward again. There are no keyframes there so I expect it just interpolates between keyframe A and keyframe B but it doesn't. I tried removing all the keyframes after A and adding them again, no luck. I also tried to remove the part with the "going backwards" by splitting the layer and deleting this segment but the problem is still there. Is this a bug of the program? Or how do I fix this? I tried cleaning the cache and restarting. It's not the first time it happens.
Also, experiencing another issue - there's another keyframe A and B - the space between is dead. A starts, it does nothing a while and then it just jumps to B instead of the natural transition I see in the video. What's going on here?
The last time I had to remove the complete layer and do the time mapping again. Thanks in advance!

it seems you have an overshoot problem which is common when interpolating between keyframes (not specific issue in Ae). simply change them back to linear by highlighting them both, and right click -> keyframe intepolation and set it to linear. you could also observe what exactly is happening by going into the graph editor (shift+f3) and choosing the value graph (right click -> edit value graph)
