Intel Iris 6100 Does not support GPU?

Hello to all!

I use MacBook Pro 13" 2015 (top version with i5, intel iris 6100 and 8gb of RAM) - my AE version is CC 13.8.0.144.

When i apply Element 3D effect to the text and then try to add some Spot light - nothing happens...I've spend almost the whole week trying to fix this, but i didn't find anything useful.

Can you please tell what can i do with this?

I also don't have a possibility to use GPU for a 3D Ray Tracing (even if Intel Iris 6100 has a GPU).

Thank you in advance!

Best wishes

Roman

Element V2 will only work with dedicated graphics cards (AMD or NVIDIA). The older version (1.6, I think) can kind of work on the Intel fake GPU things like you have.

However, if you update to the latest version of AE, you can use the Cinema 4D renderer to create 3d geometry. It does not rely on the GPU at all.

Raytracing ever only worked with nVidia GPUs. Search the forum. This has been discussed to death a million times. E3D doesn't support intel graphics, either.
