Hi all, I’m brand new to after effects and I’m just looking for the easiest way to make a skater appear to be floating by making the skateboard invisible. So far the only method I’ve seen that works somewhat reliably is clone stamping out the board frame by frame. But it still doesn’t look great, the ground changes texture by each frame. I’m sure there’s a better way to do this. I wanted to try and recreate an effect I saw in a video recently. Here it is for reference. https://youtu.be/MwTl6h8TuVA

While Rick's tutorial link is good (and right inside AE's help), that tutorial was made before Content Aware Fill for Video was introduced. Now, you might be able to get away with it using Content Aware Fill without having ot shoot it twice!
