Moving subcomp on timeline without moving the keyframes

Hello!

I have to do this many times so I was wondering if there is a shortcut for this. I'd like to have the keyframes locked relative to the timeline and move the subcomp layer itself around on the timeline. If AE doesn't have this function then I could do time remap I guess.

I'm pretty sure that's something one of the many keyframe-manipulating scripts on AEScripts.com could do easily. Just give it a look.

You can change in and out points of a layer without moving keyframes. If the layer is a pre-comp, you'll need to change the duration of the pre-comp, but this may foul up the main comp. What is your workflow? Where are these keyframes? Screenshots? Flow Charts?
