Rendering issues

I have seem to have had a ton of issues trying to do this. I finally figured out how to render with a transparent background from AE so I can open it in Premiere. The first issue was that it made it a .MOV file and it wouldnt open in Premiere. I then figured out I could download Handbrake and it would convert it to a .MP4 file. Problem solved.

Now the issue is that it only seemingly rendered one of the layers, the smoke. I want all the fire layers to render as well. Do I have to render each layer one time  (and if so, do I just click on each layer before rendering) OR is there a way to merge all the files? I have it as a transparent background already.

I'm getting so worn out with all of this.

I tried importing the AE footage into Premiere and it had a black background and wasn't showing anything under. I am also DONE with dynamic link so I won't be doing that. Does anyone know why it is not rendering all the layers?

The only thing I can think of is that I had to convert the MOV file to an MP4 so it would open in Premiere. I don't know of any other way to get the MOV file to open in premiere

Hi there,

Sorry for your issues.

What happens when you try to import mov file in Premiere Pro? Do you get any error? Premiere Pro should not have any trouble importing the mov file. Also, After Effects should export all the layers in the Composition. Could you share a screenshot of the Timeline panel with all modified properties revealed (press "U" two times).

We're here to help, just need more info.

Thanks,

Nishu
